Beauty Within
Beauty isn't pain, it's acceptance true, Embracing skin, and all we do. Unique we stand, in diverse hue, No need to prove what we inherently knew. Society's standards can bring us strife, Comparing skin tones, and life. But every shade, from dark to light, We're beautiful, in our own sight. Insecurities creep, with societal sway, We alter to fit an external way. But what if we loved our natural frame? Would we still chase an idealized claim? Pretty doesn't hurt; we hurt ourselves, By heeding others, and their wealth. Social media's influence plays a part, Shaping perceptions, and a beauty standard's art. Let's find beauty in our own design, Embracing flaws, and uniqueness divine. For in self-love, we'll find our might, And shine with confidence, in morning light.
