Beauty is not pain

Do not confuse pain for beauty. We are not deep because we hurt. Do not praise me for having emotion. I am not beautiful because I am sad. Do not seek to justify pain with beauty. It is not a required thing to have. Having pain does not make something beautiful. Not a person, Not a poem, Not a love. Just as being beautiful need not cause pain. It is good to see the beauty, and it is good to acknowledge the pain. Never confuse the two.
