Beast
Can one tell when they're becoming a beast? Or are they too far gone to realize That their actions are harmful towards others Does a beast feel guilty when he's cruel? Or does he rejoice at the sight of my misery Does a beast consider having mercy towards me when he sees I'm on the verge of killing myself? Or is this exactly what he's been waiting for Is the beast not lonely when he's cold to everyone? Or is that how he protects himself from getting hurt, betrayed or even rejected? Does a beast know he is a beast? Or is it just how we—outsiders perceive him? A beast does not even know he is a beast. The nearer a man gets to becoming a beast, the less he knows it. Because he's so far gone that the only thing he knows could possibly bring him back is gone—forever
