Battle Scars

My life hasn't been the easiest A constant battle with mental health It's as if I have gone through a battle Plenty of battle scars to remember it Sometimes it makes me feel gross My body torn up from battle But I give effort to forget and move on Only one to make me forget it all Her Everything about her making it all stop All the pain All the tears All the blood She makes it all feel like a distant memory And I don't understand why I don't deserve her I write her constantly to tell her so The awful feeling comes after though An overwhelming feeling of desperation And obsession I hope she forgives me for it all But I'm glad I have here anyway To help the battle scars fade
