Battle
Forgive me, Lord, I had given up and spliced the cord. Hopelessness had swept within me, a false sense of being free. Word curse after word curse, Fumed by anger. As silly as it seems, that word curse is Danger. Forgive me, God, I didn't mean for you to become a stranger. Anger, anger, anger The famous lure, I wrote about you before. Forgive me, God, I know I should not be in an uproar. Engulfed by sin. I was at it again. Lust is always knocking, and it keeps my mind rocking. Try as I may. I still fail to this day. Forgive me, Lord. I need to pray. Forgive me Father, for I do not live by the spirit. I come to you, perhaps a visit. Enlighten me to your limit. The flesh is quite captivating, but do not be fooled, for flesh is captivity. Such an everlasting liability.
