Ballad of Sorrow
In shadowed halls where echoes mourn, Whispers dance, their tales forlorn, With plaintive sighs, the night's embrace, Enfolds the heart in somber grace, In dreams, where sorrow's tears are born. Through misty vale and twilight's shroud, The Ballad of Sorrow chants aloud, In ancient tongue, its verses weave, A lantern's glow in endless eve, Lost echoes of the fallen crowd. Beneath the moon's pale, mournful gaze, Lies the path of forgotten days, Where wistful winds, in hushed refrain, Recall the ache of ancient pain, And mournful cries in silence raise. Through epochs vast, its journey wends, To places affected by time's transcends, Though sung in tones of new lore, Same is the essence of its core, adore, The Ballad of Sorrow never ends.
