Bad Romance
I remember you once said that every low was worth every high, and I wonder if it’s still true? I wonder how lovesick we are, When our hearts are empty and we depend on each other to fill it. How did we go from one of the most euphoric highs to one of the most depressing lows? Did the world stop spinning for you for just a second? Me too. Can I make it spin again? What does this all mean for us? The sky is so big, the earth so large And yet somehow we are bound together by these invisible threads. Our destinies are entangled in a complicated weave that leads to nothing but grief. Is this how it feels to be us? To feel like everything we do is futile and meaningless? Yet so motivated to keep going all at the same time? You say that we'll be okay, but will WE be okay? will we end up as hallow shells of what we once were, skeletons holding hands- no heart beating yet we still love. Will our souls drain as we cling to each other, begging the other to fill it back up? is 5 seconds of sun worth the week of darkness? my problem is, I'll say yes. it's worth every fucking thing. so I just need you, your logical mind, to tell me what you think.
