Bad Genes
I hate her nose lines up with mine, And our eyes are the same. What I fear we will share in time, Is what lies inside her brain. The nine months in which we shared, She relied on substances to tame her mind. Since I've smelled it, a thought I've beared, Is that our futures are of the same kind. My lungs begin to quiver and shake, as my friends take breaths from a pen. And I dont know how much time it will take, Until I can no longer say 'Amen'.
