Baby Poet

I've never really done this before I've always loved reading sci-fi and fantasy The thought of sitting down and reading poetry made me antsy And writing poetry had me crying: "No more!" I think I'm ready now, though At least now, if I try to write, I'm not burdened with the need to fill a whole page I write slowly, it feels like it takes an age to get anything down And you might read this and frown But at least I tried And in that, I have pride
