Awakening to Self-Love

I have finally realized why you left me. It wasn’t because I was not Caring or loving towards you. I had tried my best to love you In the best way I could. But you wanted more; More of something that was already at its limit. More of something that had already given its all. So you left to find someone else that could fulfill Those needs. How selfish was that? You didn’t even look back once, But that's what showed me The person you really are. So thank you for the lesson learned, For in the end, my heart still yearned. Not for your love, but for my own, In self-love's embrace, I've truly grown.
