Awake from this Dream
In the darkness, terror hides from sight, Echoes of her pain, a silent plight. Blood runs cold, as moon peers through the trees, A chilling whisper carried on the breeze. Shadows dance, a haunting macabre waltz, Within the night, dread's grip begins to pulse. Eyes wide shut, her voice trapped deep within, A silent scream, the horror that has been. Fear engulfs the soul, suffocating tight, As nightmares unfold in the dead of night. The walls bear witness to her silent cries, Unheard by all except the moonlit skies. The night prowls on, devouring her pleas, Engulfed by darkness, shrouded memories. Yet through the void, a flicker of her will, A resilient spark refusing to be still. For in her silence lies a strength untamed, A force that cannot be silenced or maimed. In nights to come, her scream shall find its sound, A roar of courage that will resound. But for now, she endures the silent scream, In hopes that one day she'll wake from this dream.
