Awake
As I came to reality I learned their vulnerability, Their trials and hardships, Were hard to bear, I saw the signs of their decline, The years carved around their eyes, Gray hair sprouting up with the passing time, That comes with a life of labor. My heroes, my shining armor, For my dream and my aim, I was young and foolish, Until the wake up call came. "daughter, don't yield to temptations or sins, For you have a lot to achieve." And changed my perspective.
