Autumnal Beauty
The crows, they go about cooing The squirrels busily gathering nuts of every kind Dragonflies gently moving around the rowan trees Mushrooms silently pushing up through the earth Sycamore seeds making their wobbly way down to the ground The air filled with thousands of birch seeds The sunlight peering through the golds and browns, and the occasional reds Morning air so fresh and crisp, a treat for your lungs Windy days, and sunny haze, Droplets on the leaves, both above, and below Webs so wet, they look so white Damp scents in the wooded places Fungi claiming fallen wood Hunters and gatherers out and about Conkers so shiny, just laying amongst the leaves Spiky sweet chestnuts littering the grasslands Mole Hills appearing all around us Last of the berries can still be seen These are just some off my favourite autumnal things
