Autumn Leaves
I can't hold you, like the dead leaves falling, They seem ready to crumble at the gentlest touch, I fear you'll shatter into fragments. Sitting here, I watched you fall so gracefully, I simply gazed at them, like the autumn wind, I can't grasp you any longer. You're my fifth season, I long to see you, but you elude me, The dead leaves cascade like tears. Autumn leaves, cease your falling. Never fall again. Yet, fall for me.
