Autumn
I always find myself in awe Of the gentle brown leaves that fall. I look to them and I am reminded Of that feeling in which I confided. This feeling known as joy One that I take pride in not treating like a toy. The leaves- they know my every move. The sheer happiness they bring I need not prove. My skin is caressed by the gentle breeze The love brings assurity that my soul will not freeze. The wind brings me much healing. I hope to never lose such a feeling. My heart is purged of all doubt In that windy field there is no reason to shout. That windy field I view as my sanctuary I am free of all worries. I honour that very special wind That reminds me I am free. In the wind with my partner I wish to dance Hoping to be placed in a trance. The love we feel is reciprocal. This bond is very tranquil. I give my soul's dedication. Maybe Autumn is my medication. In my heart I bear gratitude Because my love for Autumn will never lose altitude.
