Autumn
The autumn leaves symbols of renewal A new beginning as the trees are left bare No longer clothed by their emerald garments Left cold to the elements and Patiently awaiting the dawn of spring When they start anew and warmth returns Spring will emerge When the Jacaranda tree blooms with its violet coloured hues With the fiery arrival of the Coral tree The Cape Chestnut with its orchid like entrance When the sun smiles upon us and It's rays are illuminated upon the earth and their outstretched hands embrace the trees left cold from the winter
