attendance was never finished
part two 9:50 we got to the parking lot parents waited by their cars Dreading when their baby didn't come back out My mother sobbed My father didn't say a word And as I walked past the building on the floor Fallen from the third floor was a boy about my age his skin was littered with bruises his ribs peeked out from the T-shirt that he was swimming in A semiautomatic rifle lay beside him discarded. I should feel anger hate bitterness Maybe even joy that he got what he deserved But looking at the boy who took so many lives in just hours All I could feel was sorrow The world turned it's back The people pretended not to see hid behind problems that didn't matter Argued for normalcy so they didn't look him in the face he was bitter he was angry And in the end with no where left to run In one last bitter act he took the people who had turned their back.
