attachment
i had a spark in me i had it at all times i almost never lost it it made them turn toward me, soften for me until one day, I let myself attach I let myself wait, settle, accept and somewhere while I was waiting I lost it eventually if my spark had a voice it would follow an agonizing trembling whisper against me blaming me for giving it up so easily The funny part ? I will still volunteer myself in the same way at the same time with the same person. I will still attach myself & let myself get hurt simply because I know I can brighten their spark and that's the thing about attachments. they are selfless. painfully. Beautifully. selfless.
