AT THE BOTTOM
I don't remember how long I had sunk nor when I even got submerged all I remember was the peace the solemn silence that came with it everything suddenly quiet, no noise the cool feeling coming with it no racing pulse, no sweat I also think it is the solitude that comes with being unreachable but I could see them from the bottom twas so clear from down there could see folk walk past, unfazed no one caring to investigate the ripples nor the rugs left by the pool "probably left by a mad man" they'd say their nonchalance was not bothersome not the reason I unsunk myself it's probably due to the cold water or was it the darkening of the pool? for I hate dark places good thing is, I'm no longer sunk
