Ashes in the Rain (Part 3)
I sunk where light don’t dare to tread, Built a throne in my hollowed head. Laughed with shadows, cried in code, Buried the pieces I couldn’t decode. No saviors came. No angels wept. Just the echo of secrets my silence kept. I wore despair like second skin, Prayed to the void, “Can I just give in?” Then—Nothing, Just breath. Still breath. Not joy. Not pain. Just… what’s left. A flicker. Not light—just less dark. A heartbeat, slow, But it made its mark. Maybe the grave I dug was a seed. Maybe I break so I learn how to bleed— Right. To feel without fear, To stand in the smoke and still see clear. This ain't healing It’s resurrection through ruin. Rebirth not by choice, But by not being done yet. Ashes in the rain— But something bloomed.
