Ashes in the rain ( Part 2)
I wrote her name in the fog on the glass, Watched it fade like the rest of my past. Each breath, a whisper I can’t rewind, Each tear, a prayer God left behind. Stumbled through nights with a pill and a pen, Bleeding in verses again and again. Told the moon secrets I wouldn’t confess, She just stared back, cold and unimpressed. Love was a war I was drafted to lose, Heart was a weapon she aimed, then refused. Now I roam with my sins like a coat I can't shed, Wearing ng guilt like a crown on my head. Tried to fly with wax wings, blind to the sun, Didn’t know falling could feel like home when you're numb. They say grief is the price that we pay for the real— Then why’s every memory something I steal?
