As I journey on
I wander to the place I call my own, Where my garden blooms, and memories are sown. Favourite tunes play on, a bittersweet refrain, As I drive through city streets, lost in thought's domain. The wind whispers secrets, echoing in my ear, Of laughter and tears, of moments dear. Yet, amidst the crowd, I feel alone, Missing my city, my heart's true home. Days tick by, each second precious and brief, Summer's warmth fades, and raindrops bring relief. Thunder booms, but I hear only my heart, Beating to the rhythm of time's relentless start. Time flees, and I must bid farewell, Leaving unspoken stories, memories to tell. I'll share them with the world, till my last breath, For in sharing, I hold onto life's fleeting depth.
