As Above So Below
In shadows deep, where darkness lies, A tale unfolds, where fear and beauty collide. As above, so below, the echoes ring, A haunting harmony, a chilling sting. Beneath the moon's ethereal glow, Unseen realms awaken, horrors to show. The stars above, they twinkle bright, Yet mirror secrets, hidden from sight. In mirrored depths, a twisted dance, Where specters writhe, in eerie trance. The beauty cloaked in macabre guise, In frightful splendor, they mesmerize. Celestial patterns, celestial schemes, Reflect in nightmares, in dreadful dreams. For what is lovely, can also be dread, A paradoxical tapestry, where terrors tread. Through ethereal veils, the shadows creep, Whispering secrets, disturbing sleep. As above, so below, the boundaries blur, Where terror and allure, in unison stir. In haunted realms, where specters dwell, A paradox unfolds, a frightful spell. For beauty's mask conceals the fright, A twisted waltz, in the abyss of night. So marvel at the horror, embrace its grace, For in the darkness, beauty finds its place. As above, so below, a ghastly delight, A chilling symphony, of fear and allure unite. -Ira Jewel Self
