ARMY: giving rebirth to nation
Here's a poem in the voice of Murali Naik, expressing his emotions: "I stand tall, on borders cold, My nation's pride, my heart's gold. I face the foe, with courage bright, For India's honor, I'll fight through the night. My parents' tears, I'll wipe away, With every step, I'll pave the way. For freedom's sake, I'll give my all, My life, my duty, I'll never fall. In Jammu's hills, I'll make my stand, With every breath, I'll defend this land. Though death may come, I'll face it bold, My nation's call, my heart's gold. I'll live on, in memories dear, My sacrifice, will wipe away each tear. For India, I'll give my life away, In eternal sleep, I'll find my way." The thought of never seeing, My family's smiles, my village's greenery. The Line of Control, a cold, harsh fate, A soldier's sacrifice, an eternal weight. While my death, the national flag should drape on me, A symbol of pride, a final dignity. I'll hold on to memories, of laughter and tears, Of joy and sorrow, of all the years. But now, I'm left with, only pain and grief, A soldier's farewell, a heartbreaking relief."
