Are we strangers now
After sharing glances of moon When you gazed at the moon and I gazed at you After taking vow to witness this magic every fortnight Are we strangers now After weaving silence into words unspoken When time paused just to hear us breathe After nights where distance melted in dreams And touch was found in thoughts beneath Are we strangers now After making your smile my gentle cure, And the loudest laughter I was once the reason for. Now a stranger drifts through my restless mind On this long night train, to the past I’m tied. After sharing each other's insecurity fear Even in distances feeling each other near Once a sound mesmerized my ear Now if I ever hear you will you sound stranger After living in moments that felt like forever When goodbye never seemed our endeavor If we ever met will we be the most known strangers ever
