April's Sorrow.
April's melancholy serenade echoes sorrowful songs, beats tearful drums, chants sorrows, plays strings of grief, and dances joyfully, As she snatches him from the earth with her ugly, unforgiving claws, I never dreamed I'd lose him to her, not so soon, not so cruelly. I'd done nothing to deserve such cruelty as my punishment, no wrong to atone. He was even more innocent, pure of heart. Very bad, he was the chosen one, fate's unfair part. I dare not say it shouldn't have been me, for it shouldn't be him either, not he. April made me weep, tears fell like rain. Tears came from the depths of my being, a heart in pain. It hurt, it hurt, it really hurt, a wound that won't heal. My heart bled, eyes swollen and red, a heavy heart that feels. Claps of sorrow deafened me, a silence that screams. The wound is deep and tough to heal, a scar that remains. I never dreamed I'd lose him, but it's like a dream I did, even too soon, too sudden, too cruel. He's not the only one dear to me, but he's one of the precious ones, a treasure to see. Ours was a true friendship, strong and free. Yet April said he cannot remain mine, fate's decree. I miss him, I miss him so, a longing that won't subside. Blissful Pen. Wordsella.
