Apologetically Myself
I always felt the compliments ironic when they say I'm unapologetically myself. Praising me for always oddly being me. When I'm very apologetically me. In every "Sorry" I utter without reason In every time I close my mouth mid-sentence so you could start yours and every time I've let you step on the heels of my shoes. I'm only myself because I've learned after many attempts, that it seems I'm incapable of being anyone else. I was never a good actor And I suppose it's my flaw that I gravitate to the easiest route. So I suppose I am always myself but not because I am bold or making a statement I just don't know how to be anyone else and I'm not strong enough to try to. So instead I apologize for interrupting you by speaking first for being in the wrong place at the wrong time, making you step in my heels and for always saying "I'm sorry" like a kicked puppy . And for being so apologetically myself.
