Anxiety's Grip
A knot of dread within my chest, A whisper, "You're not good enough, not blessed." A constant hum, a racing mind, The fear of failure, hard to find A moment's peace, a steady breath, As worries swirl, like autumn leaves, A chilling breeze, a sense of death, A shadow creeping, taking leave. But hope still flickers, faint but strong, A tiny flame, where I belong, A strength within, a will to fight, To break the chains, to hold the light.
