Anxiety and Depression
In the depths of a restless mind, Where shadows lurk, dark and unkind, Anxiety whispers echo deep, A haunting melody, fears that creep. Like branches gnarled, entangled, tight, Depression's grip dims every light, A heavy fog envelopes the soul, silent storm, taking it's bleak toll. Anxiety, a trembling bird in flight, Wings flutter in the darkest night, Features ruffled, a heart take flight, racing thoughts, and unending fight. A symphony of worries begins to play, Anxious rhythms, chaotic ballet, Insecurities dance upon a stage, A suffocating whirlwind, a captive cage. Depression, a weight upon the chest, A somber cloud, a relentless jest, Life's colors fade in the shades of grey, As sorrow's chorus sings its dismay. A lonely battle, behind closed doors, Smiles concealed, on a broken shores, But in these depths, a strength remains, A resilience that slowly sustains. In the shadows, hope's whispers grows, In the silence, resilience shows, Hands reach out, to hold and heal, Reminding us that love is real. For the depths, there lies a light, Courage to face the darkest fight, Anxiety and depression may entwine, But together, we can redefine.
