Anxiety
When the sun goes down You’re always there Creeping in like I don’t have to sleep You touch me in ways I wish you wouldn’t You pull me in ways I don’t want to go You don’t wipe the tears away You don’t dare to even consider me You lay there in my head making me assume everything else is dead You make me think life is pointless with me here You gather it all and piece by piece you put it back Not where it belongs but where I worked so hard all day to get it out of. You make me think he doesn’t love me You make me check on them 10 times throughout the night. Why? Because of the few times mothers check and their gut was right. You read articles about your child’s development And all of a sudden I’m messing up You make me do this You make me crazy Why can’t I get away from you Stupid Fucking Anxiety.
