Anxiety
There is an unwanted guest in my house And his name is Anxiety He showed up,took over my space And putting some rules in place like 1:no sleeping before I have graced your bed 2:you don't need friends you need me instead And 3:the only thing that would tear us apart is death And no he did not just end there So every time I tried to pick up my pen He would appear again And what was once poetry Shapeshifted into agony I was digging up words that he had buried deep inside of me See that is anxiety A man who entered my house Without the intention to ever leave
