Another Poem About My "Sister"
Dear You, Don't worry I'll keep your name out of this even though you won't ever see it. I don't think you know just how much you mean to me, you are the sister I always wanted. No I don't mean to sound like all my other poems about you either. You simply mean more to me than the sugar in my coffee or the stars and moon at night I may complain about the things you say or do, but secretly it's my way to say I love you. I hate when you have to take me home and I miss you as you go down the road. You my friend see, you mean so much more to me. More than some silly little poem More than the fall season too, You mean more than a sister to me. I don't even miss my own brother the way I miss you. I know you'll always have my back, even when I might be wrong. You'll let me live and learn, Help me after I fall. You'll patch me up and clean my wounds And I hope you know I'd do the same for you When you ended up in the hospital, said you could have died My heart clenched so tight I swore and started to cry A life without you Is no life at all I don't think you realize just how much you mean to me, But you mean more than a friend, you are a sister to me.
