another lovesong
what would I do to rebirth you into something tangible - beyond the thick dustfog between my every thought. to palm your stomach and heave alongside you and twine around your form all limbs and luminescence - the oven piercing heat enrapturing me, even now, even as the desert sky curls around the back of my mind. you sigh and the sound blinds me. everything bloom intos your laugh. In an empty room, the ceiling fan drones on in persistent requiem. I turn into empty, endless covers. I don't have it in me to turn off the light, violent orange-red against the walls, but... say I did. could rebirth my room as darkness. you would look so beautiful shrouded in the moonlight
