Anorexia
It always starts with an 'I want to be pretty, Next thing you know you starting skipping I know you think it will all go away That you can boss it as you wish That voice that is telling you that pretty means thin That voice that says you're full you don't need to eat That your waist ain't petite enough It says girl you need to get some work done It always gets to me, Every time that you lie that you ain't hungry Is perfection really worth this? Your sanity? I really want to tell you that the struggle never ends You'll always see yourself as not enough But you won't listen now like I didn't listen then So every time I try my best Tell you that you're the prettiest thing Cause that's something I wish someone had said to me
