Animalism In Human
In the depths of our humanity, a beast lies in wait A primal force that stirs, and awakens to participate In the dance of destruction, where we ravage and we tear Leaving in our wake, a trail of broken dreams, and shattered care We don our masks of civility, and pretend to be refined But beneath the surface, a cauldron of emotions, churns and entwines We seethe with anger, we boil with rage, we simmer with spite And though we may conceal it, our true nature, takes flight We become aggressive, indivisible, and vengeful, in our pursuit of power We treat others with disdain, and disregard, in each passing hour We downlist, we manipulate, we pretend, and we deceive And though we may appear, to be good, and noble, our hearts, do conceive We wear plastic smiles, and hide behind, a facade of friendship, and love But what we say, is not what we do, and what we portray, is not who we are, above We're diamonds, and gold outside, but inside, we're stones, unpolished, and rough We're a paradox, a contradiction, a mystery, that's hard to grasp, and tough But still we search, for a glimpse, of our true selves, in the mirror's gaze We yearn, to be authentic, to be real, to be free, from the chains, that bind us.
