Anguish
From the anguish we will rise, Even though something Inside us dies. We hold on to hope, Trying to forget the lies. Time heals all things, We come to despise. On crippled legs we try to stand. Waiting for anyone to lend a hand. The hope deferred, the hand unseen. What does this life even mean? Alone we fall with no one to steady. We cry out to God, " Take me I'm ready!"
