Anger
In the depths of my fiery soul, Anger stirs and takes control. A tempest brews within my core, A rage that I can no longer ignore. The flames engulf my very being, Fury and wrath are all I am seeing. With clenched fists and gritted teeth, My anger consumes me like a thief. It rages like a wild, untamed beast, Devouring all sense of peace. My heart pounds with an explosive beat, As anger courses through my every heat. But in this fury, I find no release, Just a poisonous toxin that won't appease. For anger is a double-edged sword, Destroying all it touches, unexplored. So I strive to quell the flames inside, Taming the anger I've tried to hide. With deep breaths and calming thoughts, I seek solace amidst the onslaught. For anger, though potent and intense, Is not the answer, nor defense. In its wake lie shattered dreams and regret, A lesson learned, I shall never forget.
