And to Your Lord is the Return
Life, a bed not full of roses, A journey from birth and to death. Life, bitter-sweet like a lime, Yesterday bleeds, today heals. Life, thrust to us, without pay, A test from Allah, we mustn't fail. Life, a struggle we must endure, Trials burn and steadfastness cures. Life, a deception that deceives, A winger of Iman to the Shaytan. Life, a place of dreams, hopes and aspirations, We've all got to build our own Palaces. When life throws, learn to endure and withstand the tedious test of time. When life eases, learn to look back and thank Allah for the journey so far. more importantly, forget not, the destination you are aimed for. whether life throws, for it must, or life eases, it's all a promise from Allah who has created. For the greatest success is not in the trials past, but in the focus retained after troubling times. The trials are never the ending nor do they affirm certitude, Focus on serving your purpose here, For in the end and verily, Unto Allah be the final Return.
