And I...
"I want to rot beside you", I say, and you don't understand, disgust fills you, as you hear me pray, I want to rot beside you, hand in hand, share my millipedes, and maggots, and flies. I know, I know! I'm entirely too much, my brand of adoration turns your stomach, makes you gag... but I'd love you past the limitations of life, no shortcuts such as "till death do as part"; I offer you my love, the only way I know how, but you are light, and the sounds of spring, wish for verses of soft pecks on rosy cheeks; you pale and balk at the darkness inside, anyone could give you fairweather puppy romance! but I'd love you till only dust remained from my bones, and even after such event, for centuries to come. But you don't want that, so I love with my absence, because I want to rot beside you, forevermore.
