“Anchor in the Dark”
When shadows crawl and steal my spark, I find my safety in your heart. The night may twist with thoughts unkind, But in your love, my peace I find. I do not ask you to repair, Just sit with me, your hand in hair. Through storm and silence, pain and fear, Your whispered words remind me: you are near. My mind may spiral, wild and loud, Drawn to grief like a thick, dark cloud. Yet your soft touch, your quiet gaze, Breaks the edges of my maze. Each heartbeat shared, each gentle glance, Becomes my fragile, sacred chance. The world may press with weight untold, But in your arms, I feel bold. Though morning comes with aching sun, And battles fought are never done, Still I hold you, and through the night, You are my anchor, my guiding light.
