An Unfortunate Reunion
Rain falling onto the cement I see you standing there This is a meeting i've tried to prevent Though clearly life isn't so fair I see you under a tree While I get drenched You say how you love to be free While I am simply entrenched I let my rage blind me A pistol aimed between your eyes Though when you do not flee I feel my panic start to rise I look in your eyes I only see a flicker The last thing I do is apologise Before I pull the trigger.
