An Ode to Hate
As the light fades, So does the flame. As darkness settles. You are to blame. The vile creatures surface. As does the tendrils of ink. They wriggle and writhe. And they pull me down to sink. You, who thinks herself so high. You, who thinks herself so mighty. You, who does not understand. You, who is now cursed to be solitary. My hate festers, It writhes and moans. My heart is enveloped, By the darkness you have sown. For as the tendrils dig and bury deep. For as they grow roots into my very soul. You turn and look the other direction. You pretend you know it all. But you know nothing, Nothing of the pain I endure. You pretend to understand. But you are quite immature. For you forcing your way unto me, Released a cloud of hatred from within. One I've been battling to preserve you fragile emotions. But I believe I might let it win. For as I am pulled down into the blanked depths, I let out a furious cry. For you have abandoned me and think the opposite. For you have left me to rot and die.
