An Introverted Socializer
In the silent corners of the world, I once dwelt, An introvert, in the shadows, I knelt. Books and thoughts, my only solace, In my own world, a forgotten palace. Then came the change, swift and stark, Stepped into the sun, but missed the dark. An extrovert born, in laughter and cheer, In the crowd's heart, yet the echo was unclear. Conversations flowed, yet meaning lost, Countless friends, yet heavy the cost. Life was a stage, vast and bare, Filled with noise, yet the silence was rare. But then I learned, in the quiet despair, That solitude too, has its own share. The peace it brings, the calm it sows, In the heart's garden, a melancholic rose. Being anti-social, not a curse, Just a different verse. A retreat from the world's relentless chase, In solitude, I found my grace. So here I am, in silence profound, In the crowd, yet no comfort found. An extrovert, with an introvert's trace, In the spectrum of life, I lost my place.
