An Enlightning Thought Storm
What does this mirror's reflection reflect? An illusion, a distraction, meant to direct Sight away from an anonymous identity A magnanimous iridescent anomaly Hiding pain under the surface of tranquility A typhoon soaked in a raging sea Bottled up, so ready to break free A spark enlightens, the dark mystery Repeating an inevitable forgotten history This outcome is all that remains, before seen We've come, we've gone, places we've been Hearing lies from a known unreliable source Still we continue, setting out to stay the course Being led by the blind into deep murky water Led with our lead limbs like lambs to slaughter We wither in weather without disturbing the hive The queen will be, the only one who'll survive But the King's sacrifice will not be in vain The colony will relocate, will rise again Re-evolving into this revolving revolution Executing the executive's execution And when the daylight comes around again To put on it's own self-serving situational spin This web entangling even the spider's spinner Finding that the loser is now, somehow, declared the winner The champion, to the lions, is tossed Once the winner, now, is amongst the lost So easily the darkest tide's outcomes are changed Sane, deranged
