An empty night
What is a man without his love? As a night sky without its stars--empty, lost, not even worth looking at. What is a woman without her love? As an unlit moon--dull, lonely, not even worth looking at. But when the unlit moon rises up in the starless sky, they find eachother in the darkness of the unseen. The stars lighten up again, slowely, one by one. Not because of themselves, but because of purpose. The moon lights up again, slowely, bit by bit. Not because of herself, but because of the embracement of the stars, as they guide her back to her glory. The moon fills up the night sky. Standing at her full might backed up by the stars. And so the sky is no longer empty, the moon no longer hidden. They become whole--beautiful, concerted, a night worth looking at. A love worth dreaming of.
