An Ask(Dear God)
I ask for stillness in the noise For a gaze that knows no word A soul that speaks in quite tones Where silence is the loudest heard Let her see me through the blur Where others fade, but I remain In her world, let me be the only one Who calms the storm and soothes the rain Let our moments , wordless, say it all Where there's no need for crowds or calloused cheer For in our quite space, we are whole She'll need no other, when I am near A space between us, yet never far Two souls that drift, yet stay aligned In her I ask for something more- A heart that beats, both hers and mine π
