An Affectionate Kill
Hiding in the night, a sinister smile on his face, As he watches her lock the window, easening his chace The metal glistened in his hand The hand of a monster that the society has banned He stealthily creeps into her room as she lay in her slumber, unaware of the impending doom His gloved, calloused hand rises, but he hesitates.. Crouching down, he brushes her strands from her face, Something tells him to abjure and he softens The benighted man besotted by an ordinary etherealness His brain and heart conflict against themselves, He looked at her as she blazoned into his memory His defile intentions slowly carving into a warm yet painful feeling He stands up and goes to the door, and whispers his final words before he leaves her forever, "se feliz, mi amor"
