Amputation
Move on. Cut them off they said. As the worms of her broken past, ate into her brain. She kept cutting, limb after limb, So the rot doesn't spread, Until she realized, there were no parts of her left. So she searched for the pieces, In the shadows of her mind. Hoping to find the fragments of a self she left behind. With each severed limb it was her heart that bled, Haunting the absence of a memory that once reigned.
