Amongst the Ancients
Walking up the narrow paths, and turning to take the old stone steps Up into a tree top beauty, surround by life, and all things natural Makes me think about how perfect that first garden must have been, so long ago All these generations long passed, and still the green of the leaves looks so radiant in splendor The songs sung by the birds and grubs, so perfect each in their own chorus To be apart of this I am, and what a true privelidge it is, to stand amongst the ancients There's nothing money can buy, that even comes close to all this
