Am I a Fraud or Phoènix?
In the rhythm of my thoughts, a symphony plays, A blend of verses, in myriad ways. From rhymes that echo in the night, To prose that paints the morning light. I am a rapper, born to rhyme, Yet sometimes, my words take a different climb. Into the pages of books, I delve, Convincing myself, I can excel. In music's embrace, I find my beat, But in the world of literature, I seek my seat. A chameleon of creativity, I strive to be, Mastering each form, setting my spirit free. Yet amidst the applause, doubts linger near, Whispers of inadequacy, I fear. Am I a fraud, a pretender in disguise? Or simply a dreamer, reaching for the skies? But in the depths of uncertainty, I find my truth, For greatness lies in the pursuit. Whether in rap, poetry, or tales untold, My passion ignites, a fire to behold. So let the world label me what they may, For in my heart, I'll pave my way. A journey of self-discovery, I'll trod, Embracing every facet, even feeling like a fraud. written by. Tinashe Davison Ncube
